一方面，我校的学生英语基础较差，听，说的能力相对较弱，授课采用较深的全英教学，同学们还不能适应。另一方面，不同层次的学生对知识的理解和把握不同，造成了学习成绩参差不齐。因此，教学需要照顾到整体，有的同学比较沉静，学习欠积极性，虽然有的学生成绩相对不错，但大多数学生的英语基础相对薄弱，这是备课时应该特别注意的问题，不能放弃每一名学生，关注每一名学生的成长，当他们走出英语课堂时，能够体会到收获的乐趣，是我为之努力并追求的目标。要达到理想的教学效果就要了解和分析学生的实际情况，真正做到因材施教。这也正是教育学中提到的“备教法的同时要备学生”，这一理论在我的教学实践中得到了验证。

备课充分，能调动学生的积极性，上课效果就好。但同时又要有驾驭课堂的能力，因为学生在课堂上的一举一动都会直接影响课堂教学。因此上课一定要设法令学生投入，不让其分心，这就很讲究方法了。上课内容丰富，现实。教态自然，讲课生动，难易适中照顾全部，就自然能够吸引住学生。所以，老师每天都要有充足的精神，让学生感受到一种自然气氛，这样的授课才会事半功倍。回看自己的授课，作为一名青年教师，我感到有点愧疚，因为有时我并不能很好地做到这点。通过青年教师研讨课，过关课，我也意识到了自己的不足。在以后的教学工作中，我会研究教学方法，不断提高自己驾驭课堂的能力。

英语是一门外语，对学生而言，既生疏又困难，在这样一种大环境之下，要教好英语，就要让学生喜爱英语，让他们对英语产生兴趣。否则学生对这门学科产生畏难情绪，不愿意学，也无法学下去。为此，我采取了一些方法，上英语课时，尽量用一些通俗易懂的口语去和学生交流，创造英语的学习氛围，课堂上鼓励学生大胆尝试，学生不敢张嘴的状态已逐渐得到改善。因为英语的特殊情况，学生在不断学习中，会出现好差分化现象，差生面扩大，会严重影响班内的学习风气。因此，充分调动每一名学生的学习积极性至关重要，这种理念需要贯穿于每一个教学环节中，需要学生长期的坚持，师生共同的努力。
