今天我演讲的题目是《青春的火炬》。

五月的春风情深意暖，五月的花海流溢飘香，和着春潮，伴着夏韵，在花海灿烂夺目的季节里，我们迎来了“五四”运动xx周年。

弹指一挥间，人类已昂首进入了二十一世纪，在这漫长的岁月里，中国战胜了衰落，走向振兴;挣脱了屈辱，走向奋起。中国正以崭新的姿态向世人展示着巨龙的力量。然而，人们不会忘记那跨时代的民族救亡的“五四”爱国运动，更不会忘记那举起民族帜，开创民族独立和民族振兴新纪元的`先驱者，不会忘记革命战争的烽火硝烟，更不会忘记为真理而抛头颅洒热血的英烈们。今天，我们的祖国已进入了新的历史时期，振兴中华的责任，已落在我们肩上。“五四”火炬已光荣的传到了我们手中，我们的肩膀虽然稚嫩，但我们的心中，却有一枚辉煌的太阳!

大家好!

“少年不知愁滋味，为赋新词强说愁”，少年更不识寂寞的滋味。当我踏入大学，在那里我才感受到了什么是真正的寂寞?百无聊赖，手头根本找不到值得去做的事情。我失去了充实的生活，甚至产生了退学的想法。时光荏苒，如今我从事着我梦寐以求的职业，我充实，我骄傲!每当我走在学校坑洼的大道上时，常会想：人生之路不正像这坑洼之路吗?有起有伏才精彩;每当我手拿篮球，望着如同月球表面的球场时，我都会想如果真在月球上多好，可以摆脱地球引力，自由扣篮了;每当我独守教学楼，听着风吟雨潇，可以任思绪飞翔;每当夜深人静，而我手持红笔，批阅作业，纵横其间，此时此刻，谈何寂寞?我对自己说，既然选择了教师，那就做一只快乐的陀螺吧!

“采菊东篱下，悠然见南山”，陶渊明式的那种闲适，那种怡然自得曾经是我梦寐以求的。也许你会笑话我这个年轻人，因为在这个物欲横流，房价飞涨，物价上涨的.时代，陶渊明还能够“不为五斗米折腰”吗?当我们拿着微薄的工资，望着房价物价兴叹时，我们能为自己的清贫骄傲吗?谁来为你的房子买单?谁来为你的柴米油盐买单?谁又会来为你的清贫买单?难道我们就得安于现状，等待救济，不思进取吗?

“穷则生变”，中国民族何尝不是在贫穷落后中崛起的，那么这注定我们要不安于现状，要迫使我们努力进取，这又何尝不好呢?既然我们还年轻，我们就有资本去搏杀，就有机会去争取更好的生活，但我们必须努力，必须奋斗，必须在寂寞中唱歌，在清贫中完成自我富足。

自我富足，不是指物质生活上的自我满足，而是指精神上的富有。不要求你学富五车，不要求你才高八斗，只要求你在闲暇之余少打麻将少打牌，少摆酒席多读书。俗话说：“活到老，学到老”，廉颇尚未老矣，而我们却倚老卖老。以书为友，以书为侣，这才是完成自我富足的有效途径。

I remember someone once said that the united efforts to fight against SARS lasted until the Wenchuan earthquake in recent years, as well as the Yushu earthquake that only occurred a while ago. We still have the spirit of patriotism, and there are still difficulties for our country. As young people, we are the vanguard and appear for our country. Although it may not be the era of sacrificing our lives and shedding our blood in times of war, we still have the spirit of patriotism and contribute our humble efforts to the country. 我们知道，今天的好形势来之不易，是先辈们抛头颅、洒热血换来的。也深深知道，在今天祖国建设的征程中，有的人正在用自己的青春守卫着祖国的门；有的人正在漠深处、草原边疆、基层一线默默地奉献；有的人正在科技的前沿勇攀高峰，为国家的建设做出了不寻常的业绩；还有的人在服务社会、奉献爱心中赢得了党和人民群众的高度赞扬。

他们都集中体现了当代青年积极向上、奋发进取的精神风貌，尤其是表现在关心社会、好学肯钻、报效祖国的实际行动上，具有鲜明的时代特征，为我们今后的学习进取和确立人生目标奠定了基础，指明了方向。

二是要做知识的富有者。

坚持刻苦学习，不断提升自身素质，既是实现自我目标的需要，也是党的`事业的现实要求。要珍惜时间，要端正学习态度，讲究学习方法，学会学习，掌握先进的科学知识，胜任未来工作岗位的需要。要善于思考，加强修养，努力锻炼自己，矢志成才。

三是要追求真理、要求进步。

关心社会、造福人类，是每一个共青团员和广青年的共同心声。五四运动的爱国主义传统和精神，不仅深深扎根在历史的土壤中，而且与我们的价值观、人生观、世界观有机地融合在一起。

遵章守纪、服从领导，热爱祖国、热爱人民、热爱科学、热爱劳动，以天下为己任，甘愿在国家、民族面临生死危亡的紧要关头，义无顾、挺身而出，这是我们始终必须具备的优良品质和精神风貌四是要坚持奉献为本。继承和发扬五四精神不是一句简单的口号。

人生的价值在于奉献。只有在奉献自己的青春、热血和智慧的过程中，才能得到社会的认可。奉献意味着奋斗，不奋斗就不会成长、不奋斗就不会前进，不奋斗就不能体现自我的价值所在。惟有奋斗和奉献，才能使我们真正成为新时代的主人。

21世纪，当代中国面临的挑战正是中国青年面临的挑战。新的形势和任务正等待着我们去描绘、去实现。我们只有坚定理想信念，坚持认真学习，刻苦磨砺，加强锻炼，不断改造，才能真正无愧于这个伟的时代。

有着崇高理想和远目标的新一代共青团员和广青年，必将会以自己的过硬素质和能力迎接挑战，赢得未来！

When we step into the flower sea of May, when we sing the beautiful youth and the hot era, we will never forget the tragic and magnificent scene that happened on the land of China in 1919. The May Fourth Movement was the first to shout out the slogan of "fighting for national power externally and punishing traitors internally", sounded the horn of battle, and raised the banner of advanced culture on the land of China!

Time is like smoke, flowing like water. The spirit torch of "patriotism, progress, and science" contained in the May Fourth Movement has been passed down through generations of benevolent and righteous individuals, and is moving forward with the times on the path of the new century.

We know that todays good situation was not easy won, it was the result of our predecessors sacrificing their lives and pouring their blood. I also deeply know that in the journey of building our motherland today, some people are guarding the door of our motherland with their youth; Some people are silently dedicating themselves in the depths of the desert, on the border of grasslands, and at the grassroots level; Some people are bravely climbing to the forefront of technology and have made extraordinary achievements in the construction of the country; Some people have won high praise from the Party and the people for serving society and dedicating love.
