How to Use Our Brain

What does the population growth mean? It means greater and greater consumption and greater pressure for the earth. If more people are added to the world population without our being alert or taking any action, we would have only standing room by the end of the 21st century.

Each government and the UN should see that population of each country and each city stops growing for the next fifty years.

My View on Job-hopping

People have different attitudes towards their work. Some prefer to stick to one occupation as their lifelong career. These people are of the opinion that one can never do his work well unless he is devoted to only one job in his lifetime. So if one changes his job frequently, he will not get the necessary experience needed in his work.

Others, on the other hand, like to change their jobs at times. In their opinion, people work in order to make more money. If they havea chance to get a better paid job, they will certainly try to get this chance. Besides, if a person does only one job all his life, he will certainly be bored with it.

My idea is that interest is the most important if one wants to excel others in his job. So if a person is not interested in his job, job hopping is normal and even necessary. Otherwise, he will suffer from his work, and inevitably, he is not likely to succeed in his career.

在人类社会长期发展演变的进程中,阶级壁垒一直是无可避免的存在着。无论怎样的社会制度,都无法消除这一社会现象。上层阶级的人总觉得自己比下层阶级的人在智力,人种方面更具优势。然而事实是:一个出生于农奴家庭的婴儿,与出生在皇宫的王子,在智力,体质上基本没有差别。之所以出现天差地别的变化,皆在于所占有生存资源的不同。

我宿舍的女生贞子跟我关系铁,都属于人来疯样式的,跟我一样,数学不好,作业完了还写的贼慢,晚自习写不完。为了提高数学成绩,我们晚自习回去接着学,连宿管阿姨都为我们走了后门允许用台灯。就这样,一年不论酷暑严寒一如既往,手冻的没有知觉放到被窝里暖和一会再拿出来接着写。有时候眼皮如坠千斤重,这时下铺就会传来这样的声音:“大蛹,你别睡过去了。”“谢谢贞子,加油!”有这鸡血一打,顿时就有了破釜沉舟的决心。不论多晚,数学题都是自己一点一点抠出来的,坚决拒绝外界帮助。凌晨,叫醒我们的也是信念,支撑着我们走到阳台,在冷风中边清醒边背公式。夜晚我们又是拥着内心的富足感甜蜜入睡,从不觉得苦累。可第一次模考成绩将我一棒子打入深渊,120分满分我竟只考了59分,我实在无法接受,贞子同我一样,成绩也不理想。

贞子,接到成绩后接着就是痛哭,让本想落泪的我一下子把眼泪憋了回去,我搭住她的肩膀,骄傲地说:“你看,这是考神为了不让我们沾沾自喜而故意打击我们的,或许是努力不够,又或许是哪出问题了呢?”

还要努力了?废话!当然要了!这只是一模,这又不是中考。

日子就这样过去,下半学期也要结束了,中考一步步逼近,步步有力,步步惊心。体育中考我们俩都考得很好,不负我们平时的狂命奔跑,而宿舍同样依然如故的“彻夜通明”。

中考那天如期而至,平淡的两天没有在星轨上留下任何痕迹,考完后我们俩拥抱了一下,她说:“谢谢你大蛹。”没有然后。

此后我们各奔东西,各自去了各自的学校。我们每天早晚背的那些公式,做的那些题,似乎没有多大用处,考试成绩也不见得好到哪去。偶然一次考试,我面对一道数学题,突然脑中带着余温的公式和题型,自由组合,我下笔作答。

王葆小的时候,每次奶奶叫他洗脚,他都不愿意。这时候奶奶就会给王葆讲宝葫芦的故事,奶奶一讲,王葆就会乖乖地去洗脚。有一次王葆在河边钓鱼,得到了一个宝葫芦。宝葫芦可以满足他的任何愿望,但是也有条件:绝对保守秘密。从此,只要王葆想要什么东西,宝葫芦都可以变出来,比如:自行车、手电筒、花。但是,渐渐地王葆也失去了同学的信任、失去了家人的喜爱。因为他要保守秘密。后来,一次数学考试让王葆明白了:原来宝葫芦变出来的东西都是偷来的。于是,他把宝葫芦的事告诉了大家,把所有的东西都还给了失主,而宝葫芦也失去了魔力,变成了普通的葫芦。

读着读着,我就想到了上次考试时发生的事。同桌问我一道题该怎么写,我没有告诉他。我想:我们应该诚实参加考试,如果我告诉他解题的方法,那他就永远不会写。

刚开始读,看到宝葫芦能满足王葆的一切愿望,我羡慕极了,如果我也有这样一个宝贝该多好呀!这样我就有漂亮的裙子、好看的皮鞋、可口的蛋糕和怎样也吃不胖的身材

但我读完后,对宝葫芦的向往一下子消失了,因为宝葫芦虽然让人应有尽有,但也给人带来了很多麻烦,王葆再也不能说真话了,他怕见好朋友们和同学们,还得躲开最喜爱的孩子们,甚至还要提心吊胆地防着最亲爱的家人们这一切让我明白好东西不一定能给人带来幸福。

我不止一次想要尝试飞得比平常高,就在比赛的前一晚,我独自来到训练场,我不信!我仰天怒吼,铆足了劲,一飞冲天,立马一阵强烈的眩晕感向我袭来:我的翅膀就像是灌了铅,扑腾几下就掉在了训练场的草丛里。我感觉身上的毛像被人用钳子一片片拔掉,疼得钻心。

前人种树,后人乘凉。我家隔壁的房子,是我祖父母住的古厝,但他们已经往生了,我唯一记得的是在那院子前有一棵玉兰花树,那一颗树非常的雄伟又高大,听我父母一说才知道,那棵树是我祖父小时后种的,虽然祖父已过世了,但那精神依然存在,我猜那棵树现在应该将近一百年了吧!祖父一双朴拙的双脚,走过住家附近田地的每一个角落,耕土、除草到结实累累,养活了整个家族,才有现在丰衣足食的我们。

小时候的我,喜欢在沙滩上,光着脚丫,在沙滩上乱跑,回头看时整片沙滩都是我的脚印,足迹踏遍处就是我成长的纪录。不管脚丫有没有穿上鞋子,我都还是会这样做,因为那时觉得好玩,现在想想也觉得那时还幼稚,因为我喜欢用身体在沙滩上作画,虽然画的不是那么好看,但在过程中很享受。家里的地板很干净,所以我非常喜欢光着脚丫在家里乱走,总是觉得这样走很清凉,走过的每一步,也彷佛为自己刻划了将来在家族中,举足轻重的地位,我如此的自我期许。

近一个月的实践阅历告知我,要想把课讲好,在课前有必要做好充沛的预备。熟记每个知识点,了解每篇课文,校准每个单词的发音,精心组织讲堂的每个环节...... 不过,要想使学生从心底里喜爱上你的课,喜爱上你这个教师,咱们要做的就不只这些啦。所以我一有时刻就和他们谈天,做游戏,了解他们的性情喜爱在校园的学习成果乃至是家庭状况,和他们树立名贵的友谊。看到我的学生真的把我当成了自己的朋友,有什么好吃的会拿来和我共享,有好玩的游戏会叫上我一同玩儿,乃至会把喜爱的玩具送给我,我觉得自己成了国际上最美好的人! 教师是个力气活,劳力,劳脑,又劳心。教师也是良知活,教得好坏多少,得用心中的那杆秤来衡量。当教师还得讲战略,要想教好学生,要想学生服气自己,有必要和他们结交,不断揣摩学生的心思,才干做到。

有过相同阅历的几位同学曾告知我,她们当了十几天的教师就开端厌恶这份作业了。可是,我觉得我的教师瘾还没过够呢!尽管在这个进程中我累过烦过也诉苦过,乃至有几回我做梦梦到的都是那帮让人省不了心的孩子。可我觉得为他们支付值! 每逢站在讲台上,被一双双纯洁的眼睛专心致志地望着时,作为一名教师的价值感和成就感就情不自禁了。

如同实习以来我碰到的作业都是些好作业,其他同学必定很仰慕这么多好人在我身边看护。LUCKY!正式接任班主任首要的作业,便是在最短的时刻内知道整个班的学生,以及阅览他们的周记。

周记,或许更多地带有作业的性质,可是,在仔细阅览每一个学生的周记后,我发现的确许多人写出了他们的心声,写出了他们的考虑。

九十后,是现在被议论最多的一代,也许是他们的风格与社会的传统相悖,也许是他们的背叛心思比较严重。咱们不难看到整个社会对他们的重视和担忧。许多人说九十后“少年不识愁味道,为赋新词强说愁”,而我经过他们的周记中看到的是其他一面,他们真的感到孑立,许多源于爸爸妈妈乃至社会对他们的不了解。

现在许多言辞都批判他们浅薄,我觉得写这些谈论的人底子就没有深化地去了解他们(当

然我也是)。他们有他们的深入,九十后考虑问题的办法和方向或许跟咱们曾经以为的常理方枘圆凿,因而他们总被迫使着行进。为什么咱们总要用自以为是对的东西去规范他们,而不去了解他们的办法?其实是由于咱们比他们还窝囊,不敢随意地去更改现已规则了的东西。

一边看他们的周记一边考虑。尽管他们是九十后,言语里带着诙谐幼嫩与不老练,可是他们并不是没有主意,并不是不深入,就像读者里一个九十后写的:你们无法了解的深入……说实话,我在四中的感觉便是——急切。记住其时我读高中的时分底子就没有这种被压着的感觉,气氛是轻松自在的,照样有许多人进了要点大学,当今这样的景象,也没见他们的要点率高了多少。每天九节的课程量,一节四十分钟,加上早读,放学一大堆的作业,这班九十后每天的一举一动底子上都被框得“有条有理”。他们每天就按着这样的行程机械地运作着,真的没有一点空间,一点自在开展的时刻。除了课程外,校园的条条框框真的是多不胜数,规则小到学生的指甲长度,头发的发型,等等。流水线作业原本是工业出产的一个巨大行进,假如运用于人,运用于教育,是怎样——咱们把人当罐头出产了!

【学情分析】

1. 认知基础:高一学生基本上能用英语清晰地表达个人观点,准确地描绘

生活现象或表达个人情感,能用基本的词汇、句型对未来生活作出描绘与预测。

2. 心理特征:高中学生思想活跃,求知欲旺盛,学习态度明确,自我意识

发展迅速并趋向成熟,独立自主性强,有一定的道德修养及正确的价值观与审美观。

3. 学习能力:学生对过去分词的用法有基本的了解,其自主阅读与表达能力有一定的基础,具备良好的团体协作能力,并能进行有效成功的交流合作讨论。

通过学习课文,使学生回顾历史,认识现在,展望未来,激发学生的想象力;提高环境保护,资源保护意识。通过讨论使学生了解中国和其他国家目前存在的社会问题以及科技发展方向,预测世界未来生活、环境的发展趋势。

通过设置讨论作者对未来生活持乐观还是悲观态度来复习并提升Reading内容,巩固学生对Reading全文线索的了解与掌握,并通过讨论找出含有过去分词用法的句子来支持各自的观点。(由于Reading中Comprehending部分中关于作者对未来生活所持有的态度的讨论跟语法部分联系紧密,故将其从Reading中剪切,转至语法中作为回顾阅读课,导入新课)完成语法练习后,学生对过去分词作状语和定语的用法有了一定的了解,然后教师将过去分词作状语和作定语的用法系统归纳如下:

过去分词作状语可以表示时间、条件、原因、让步、方式或伴随,有时在其前还可以带上连词,以示明确。

1. 作时间状语。 Once discovered, the enemies were completely wiped out.

2. 作原因状语 Moved by his words, I accepted his present.

3. 作条件状语 United we stand, divided we fail.

4. 作让步状语 Although tired, they continued to work.

注意:

1) 作状语的过去分词通常与句子的主语存在着被动关系,她所表示的动作通常和谓语动词属于同一时间范畴,也可表示先于谓语动词发生的动作。有时为了强调先发生的动作,也可用having been done.

2). 过去分词的逻辑主语要跟主句的主语一致,否则不能用过去分词作状语,应用状语从句。
